I've been trying to start a new blog but I've hit a techie speedbump. I'm having trouble figuring out wordpress. Who new a blog could be so complicated?!

A good friend of mine is here on a short visit from Chicago. She gave me a cute stuffed cow toy that is now beside my stuffed bunny doll at the foot of my electric fan. That's not important though. Heehee. Anyway, we were doing the whole "catch up with each other's lives" thing that friends do when they haven't seen each other in years, and when we got to talking about her cousin from New York, she mentioned that he had gotten married. At her home, I was browsing through some family photos and I came across the album of her cousin's wedding. I saw a face that looked familiar in the photos and made a "Jewish guys are hot! (but not that one.)" comment. She then told me that he was some kind of producer and that's when the name Josh Schwartz came rushing to my brain. Josh Schwartz was part of her cousin's wedding entourage. Josh Schwartz and Elle's cousin have been buddies since grade school. I wanted to cry and die and scream. I also started feeling this pain. I was suffering knowing that I had a connection to Gossip Girl but felt that it was just out of my reach. It's exciting and depressing at the same time. I should go to sleep now.

You know you're a tv addict when you have nothing to write about when all the season enders have been aired. Grrr. Where is my Gossip Girl?!!?! I feel like my life is on pause for the summer season.

Please forgive the wonderful misuse of the English language on the photo. I got overly excited about learning how to screen cap a video and I kinda didn't double check what I wrote. It happens to me all the time. I get way too excited for my own good.

I actually kinda like Jesse Mac. I was never into Aaron Carter. lol. But Jesse hunny, please fix yourself up a little. You're kinda cute now, but you gotta learn to moisturise or you might shrivel up before you get past #10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

... I love that little David Archuleta.

It's time for another one of my crushes. What does this one do? This one is a dancer. See, my crushes can't just be cute, they have to have some kind of talent or they have to be intelligent or super sweet. Since I can't tell if these people are sweet 'cause, well, I don't actually know them, they have to be talented or smart, or both!

In this case, Bryan Tanaka dances and kinda tries to act. I've actually only seen him act in Entourage. He had a tiny part in the episode with the limited edition Fukijama shoes. He was a sales associate who put the last size 10 Fukijama shoes on hold for Turtle but ended up selling them to a dj who bribed him with a free birthday party for his sister. He was so adorable!

New Kids on the Block was the first concert I ever watched (i don't count lea salonga).

I have decided that if you want to be schushal, you have to go to Pepper Lunch. I had dinner there earlier and I feel so schushal. I mean, seriously, just look at this photo of people who have been there. Can't you feel the schushality? I feel schushal just looking at this photo. Don't you? Oh!! You don't feel the schushalness? That's because you haven't been to Pepper Lunch in Powerplant. You should go. It opens today.

Just look at the schushality! Bryanboy is there, Daphne is there, a pretty lady carrying an Aquarelle is there, Rajo Laurel is there and that guy beside Bryanboy is there too (maybe that's not so schushalin but 4 out of 5 is pretty good). I'm not being mean. I just don't know him, so I'm not feeling any schushalness. I'm not mean, okay? I'm very sweet. I'm also not being defensive. Really. I mean, I'm not schushal too. I, actually, just joined the Secosana Sisterhood Quezon City Chapter with our Chapter president Poma. I'm not mean. I'm sweet. Shut up!

Okay, so enough of this SCHUSHAL!(can someone make an Urbandictionary.com entry for schushal?) Let's move on to hotness. There were hot guys in Pepper Lunch tonight. Uhuh.

I'm watching it again. I'm obsessing a little because it's finals next week and I'll be Idol free after that. Holo! Gossip Girl is ending next week too! What will I do?! Okay, I think I'm going to panic. I can feel it coming. lol.

Anyway, I'm watching Archuleta sing "With You" again. It's not as bad as the first time 'round. I think the "boo", an odd low note and stutter (probably lyrics struggle again), and awkward performance just really threw me off. lol. He makes it sound like a nice folk song. Probably not what he was going for but it works for me. hahaha.

I'm so totally excited. Pepper Lunch is opening in Powerplant Mall this Friday. Isn't that the most awesome news ever (better than Mariah's marriage for sure)? "Pepper Lunch in the Philippines!" Lol. I know it's kinda silly to get overly excited about food, but seriously, this is me we're talking about. I love eating. That's why keeping the poundage off is a serious battle (not news) and it's so not going to get any easier with this new restaurant opening in Rockwell. Grr.

I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the food and I have to say that it is sooooo mmm mmm good (emphasis on the first "mmm"). I'm not going to mention what I had because, if you're reading this, I don't want to influence your decision. I kinda feel like suggesting what to order at a new restaurant is like a Gossip Girl spoiler. It might ruin the excitement of the experience. Yes, it's an experience because you get to play with your food. There's some pouring, flipping, tossing, shaking, shimmying, cabbage patching, roger rabbiting, moonwalking, u-turning, g-sliding and "let me see you 1, 2 step" involved. (check the website if you want spoilers. i'm not going to give anymore here. lol)

I will, however, suggest that you have dessert. I love dessert! I love dessert! I love it so much I had to type it twice. That was odd, I know. Anyway, seriously, get the vanilla crepe cake or the molten chocolate cake, or get both! hahaha. A little warning though, I can tell the molten chocolate cake can become addicting. You have to see the chocolate ooze out. You just have to. It's beautiful. hahaha. Okay. I'm rambling again, I'll just end this with a few photos to make you hungry 'cause it made me hungry and "hungry loves company". I made that up. Awesome, huh? (don't answer that)
